Ground, Ground, Ground

People have been talking to me regarding feeling dizzy, anxious, nausea, headaches, insomnia, memory issues, random pain, and prickly nerve type shocks and pain in their body. What does all of that sound like??? Yes-not being Grounded!!!!! (one of my favorite topics) Imagine a live power line that has been knocked down in a storm, and it is sparking and jumping all over the place, no longer grounded. This is what happens to our body when we are not grounded. Emotions, exhaustion, poor nutrition, working too hard, illness and avoidance can cause us to become ungrounded. (sound like the Holidays for some of you?) Couple that with more solar flares and other energetic happenings around the Globe, and it is the cause for many to not be grounded right now. The easiest way to get grounded is go outside barefoot and walk around in the dirt or grass, even bury your feet in the dirt. You can also just be amongst Nature and all of the negative ions found there, and be grounded. Visualizing your feet with roots going deep within Mother Earth, taking an Epsom Salt bath, or doing Reiki on your feet in order to pull the energy downward. Ask your Guides and Angels to allow you to feel comfortable in your body so you can ground, and to release anything that is non-beneficial to you. You can grab Smokey Quartz and place it/them at your feel and allow the vibration to ground you, as well as spiritually shield you from other's energies. Smokey Quartz can also be put in the Epsom Salt bath for an amazing grounding soak. (a few drops of Lavender EO will put it over the top!) If you don't have Smokey Quartz in your tool box, you can also use Black Tourmaline, Hematite or Tiger's Eye. You may have to do grounding exercises a few times a day, but it become second nature to you eventually. Tap into how you are feeling, notice your reactions throughout the day, and chances are that you will find that you are not grounded.
