Meridians 10-12

And now for the next 3  Meridians. Just a reminder that imbalances in the Meridian system may cause pain, numbness, heat or cold issues and illness. This can be the result of an injury along the Meridian line, overuse of a limb or muscles along the Meridian line, or an organ  injury or weakness  along the Meridian line. Notice how the area of the Meridian Lines are described-can you see a relation between a nagging pain and a recurring illness you may be having? This can be the result of the Meridians being blocked for a time-Shiatsu or acupressure can assist in the balancing of the energies there.
The 3 Meridians I will discuss now are the Triple Heater, Gallbladder and Liver.  The Triple Heater runs from the outside corner of the eyebrow to the fourth finger.  A block or imbalance may cause ear problems, sore throat, abdominal distension, oedema, and swelling of the cheek.  The illnesses associated with that Meridian are diseases of the thyroid and adrenal glands, alternating chills and fevers, deafness and a curled tongue. There may also be pain running along the entire Meridian.
The Gallbladder Meridian runs from the outside corner of the eye to the fourth toe. A block or imbalance may cause gallbladder problems, ear diseases, migraine, hip problems and dizziness. The illnesses associated with that Meridian are alternating chills and fevers, deafness, inability to move eyes from side to side, pain in all the joints along the Meridian, headaches and painful breasts..
The Liver Meridian runs from the big toe to the front of the chest.   A block or imbalance may cause liver problems, vomiting, hernia, urination problems, pain in the lower abdomen and pain along the Meridian line. The illnesses associated with that Meridian are liver disease, headache, cramping and joint pain along the Meridian.. These are 10-12 of the 12 Meridians. Please remember that this is only 1 technique of looking at the body system to work with illness and imbalance. Your practitioner cannot diagnose or cure you, they can only work with your body in order to create a healing environment so you can be at optimal health.
