Blessed Beltane

On this blessed Beltane, I’ve been walking throughout my front & back gardens many times, to observe, feel & be at wonder with its beauty. I realized this evening at the perfect 7:40pm lite, that my gardens are random, rugged (mostly Native species & bulbs) & Irises are very pretty-at least I think so. My husband Margarito & I discuss with each other best practices in order how to decide any cutting or changing we want to do. It is truly a moment of co-creation when that happens. Unless it’s the Roses- I go by my intuition and channel my Dad to teach us if necessary! I’ve planted all of his favorite Roses for him-he was a Master Rose gardener. I love gardening-I’m always asking questions & discussing things about Mother Earth and her plants & trees-this feeds my Soul tenfold. I’m grateful that I began gardening with my Dad as a toddler, I’ve never stopped learning. And I’m also grateful for the spectrum of colors I see when looking out the kitchen window, or coming home to see the front. I’m grateful for all the rain that we continue to receive-it will help to sustain us emotionally, physically & spiritually, as it does for Mother Earth. I feel very blessed by this Beltane, and also full of wonder.
Blessed Beltane-Jess
