Winter Solstice 2016
Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 12:32PM Today is the day to embrace the beautiful stillness of the Winter Solstice! The 'darkest' day of the year, or the shortest day of the year-signifying the entrance into Winter. The energy is slow, quiet and is meant to be a day of introspection, of intention setting and of manifestation as well. I have said many times before that I am not an Astrologer, nor an expert on these types of days-but tapping into the energy is how I get the info I need to embrace these times 
Try and spend some time outdoors today in observance of the Earth and animals upon her. Ground into the beauty no matter where you live, feel the stillness in the air. Next go into meditation-perhaps with drumming, chanting or crystal bowl music. Light a candle, and go within in order to receive messages and universal energy to create and manifest what you are bringing into the Winter and next season. Grab a Garnet, Smoky Quartz, Citrine or Carnelian-warmth, focused vibrations, clarity and a bit of grounding into the familiar. What do you truly want to manifest? The Winter is your time to grow quietly just under the surface, yet at the same time be strong and futile to withstand the energies coming your way-again, observe Nature......I hope that you all enjoy this day, and the energies that it brings forth.
